Effective dish cleaning:
Adding a few tablespoons of vinegar with the washing detergent, cleans the dishes effectively. The vinegar helps remove the grease on the dishes and makes them shining.

Spills in the oven:
Sprinkle salt on the spills immediately and after the oven is cooled, clean up the surface with a damp sponge.

Cleaning the teapot or kettle:

  • The hard-water and lime build-up in a teapot or kettle can be removed by pouring in two cups of vinegar and bring to a boil. Let it boil for 10 minutes, then rinse properly.
  • Remove deposits or burnt spots in a tea or a coffee pot – put some ice cubes, cut-up lemon, and salt with a little water and whoosh around and let sit overnight.

Shining a stained sink :
Sprinkle a half cup salt and then rub with lemon. Leave it for a few minutes and rinse.

Linoleum floor cleaning:
Remove marks on linoleum by rubbing the affected areas with toothpaste and then washing the floor.

Prevent stains on plastic containers:
Rub the inner part with vegetable oil before placing the food in the container. Usually tomato based food causes the stains in the container.

Kitchen surfaces:
Mix 1 part ammonia to 3 parts water or try diluted bleach solution. Spray the solution on the floor and get rid of the stains and get hygienic floor.

Eradicating food odors:
Soak cotton in pure vanilla in a plate. Keep this plate in the refrigerator to get rid of odors. Keep the this cotton out of reach of children, this cotton contains alcohol.

Getting rid of odor in garbage cans:
Sprinkle 1/2 cup borax at the bottom of the garbage cans.

Cleaning coffee maker:
Pour vinegar into the coffee maker and turn coffee maker on as if you are preparing coffee. Repeat this with a new stock of vinegar until it runs clear of calcium deposits.
